Trip Itinerary

Day 1 – Journey to the Highlands

We begin our adventure travelling north from England into the heart of the Scottish Highlands. As the landscapes transform into rolling hills and dramatic scenery, anticipation builds for the days ahead. Arriving in Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, you’ll enjoy your first taste of Northern Scotland. Set along the River Ness, this charming city blends history, riverside views, and a relaxed Highland atmosphere. After exploring the area, we transfer to our hotel for check-in and prepare for a full Highland experience over the coming days.

Day 2 – Isle of Skye Exploration

Today is dedicated to the legendary Isle of Skye, one of Scotland’s most dramatic and photographed destinations. We begin taking you to the Highland Cow picture stop, where you can get off and visit the farm for close up photos with the cows, even feed them! We then take you to the iconic Eilean Donan Castle, beautifully positioned where three sea lochs meet — a true postcard moment. Crossing onto Skye, we explore the colourful harbour town of Portree, followed by some of the island’s most breathtaking natural landmarks. Highlights include the towering rock formations of the Old Man of Storr, and the dramatic sea cliffs at Kilt Rock. Expect sweeping coastal views, wild landscapes, and unforgettable photo opportunities throughout the day before returning to Inverness in the evening.

Day 3 – Scotland’s Wild North Coast

Today we travel along parts of Scotland’s rugged northern coastline, where dramatic cliffs meet the North Sea and vast open landscapes stretch as far as the eye can see. We visit the peaceful shores of Brora Beach, we then take you to the iconic northernmost point of mainland Britain at John O’Groats, you’ll have time to take in the windswept scenery and coastal views. We also explore the dramatic coastline near Duncansby Lighthouse, known for its towering sea stacks and wild beauty, before finishing the day back to Inverness for evening!

Day 4 – Highlands & Scenic Valleys

On our final day, we journey through some of Scotland’s most cinematic landscapes. We stop at the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct, dramatically set beneath Highland mountains and overlooking Loch Shiel — one of Scotland’s most recognised landmarks. Next, we visit the legendary Three Sisters of Glencoe, a dramatic mountain range steeped in history and surrounded by breathtaking scenery. A final scenic pause at Loch Tulla Viewpoint offers peaceful Highland reflections before we begin our comfortable journey south. We return home after four unforgettable days filled with rugged landscapes, iconic landmarks, and true Highland adventure.
